The free seats will be available for booking on its website from today until Sunday and the travel period is from May 1 to Sept 30 next year.

Bookings could also be made via AirAsia’s mobile apps.

“Guests only need to pay from as low as RM26 for airport tax and applicable fees to destinations such as Penang, Langkawi, Terengganu, Brunei and other places in Cambodia, India, Indonesia and Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and many more throughout the campaign period and are subject to availability,” AirAsia Bhd said in a statement yesterday.

AirAsia Bhd commercial group head Kathleen Tan said they were anticipating high traffic on their website throughout the Free Seats campaign.

“Based on past experiences, free seats are usually snapped up almost immediately as soon as they are made available.

“This is an AirAsia tradition to offer free seats to everyone and for them to experience our extensive route network and connectivity to over 85 destinations across nearly 24 countries,” she said in the statement.
